Seattle – Qualis Health announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Washington State Health Insurance Pool (WSHIP) to provide utilization management, case management, disease management, and specialty review services to its 3,136 enrollees. WSHIP provides access to health insurance coverage for all residents of the state of Washington who have been denied individual health insurance by other carriers.

Qualis Health, which is accredited by URAC in health utilization management, case management, and independent review, has provided comprehensive care management services for more than 30 years to clients such as employers, government agencies, health plans, trusts, third party administrators, and workers’ compensation organizations. Qualis Health currently covers over 3.3 million lives with its care management suite of products, including approximately 45 percent of Washington's population.
